My roots, my home, in one of my investigations i ask myself how the land feels when i walking on, the answer of this question is: Home, ancestors, family and connection. The roots where you come from is home.
This pictures is my home where my family lived in the past and where my grandpa and grandma fell in love because they where neighbours in the street Zandvoortselaan in Zandvoort.
Whe have a rich history of traditional clothes, history of fishing on fish from the North Sea and whe have a lot of history with water in the family, my grandpa working with water inthe Amsterdamse Waterleiding Duinen it was his work and sell cards at the gates a long time ago, other family lives there by the Zandvoortselaan, i grow up in the dunes, my land, my place of home, happiness and balancing life.
