Why this website?
We find it verry important to share our Dutch indigenous culture before it is gone of loosing our identity because it is stil taboo and people are not aware of where they come from and who are ancestors are in the past and did not know abouth our nature life and what is happend in the past and what happend why we have now a lot of problems like mental problems and that is why we want to make people aware of that the money makers and the mighty people who think they can buy land and they think it is ther land but in real life the land can't be from no one it is of mother earth and that is why we teach others abouth our culture and what we have in the past that made us until this day and what we stil have in our indigenous past and we want to bring it to this present time and future, we have rich story's and diffrent kinds of story's abouth our culture in the past and we know that people who comes to visit the Netherlands love our traditions like food and places, we have a lot of diffrent kinds of traditions like the wood windmills, we have traditional clothes and the Dutch clumbdance in traditional clothes, we have a rich history like the Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie and we have in the past also the West Indische Compagnie but then you talk abouth the 1600 century. But we have more like the fishingpeople and a fishingvillage like our village who had back in time like the 1100 people who has it as job to fishing with the old boats on the sea, this was a way of life of my people in the past, my ancestors until this way of life ends in the 1926 al boats are gone until the year 1980 +/- it was a disaster for our people then came the Kotter boats but al the boats from my fishinvillage are gone now and that is why i tell the story's and share our story's of my people to keep the story's alive because it is verry important to teach abouth al the old indigenous ways of life from my people.

My name is Debby Emmerig and i am the founder of this website.
I believe in our mission to get back our identity by sharing our own identity and create awareness because we forget where we come from and who our ancestors are and how they lived in the past like 330.000 years before Christ and that is why we share story's abouth the dune and the forest nature people in whole the Netherlands.
Sinds we started in 2012 with our familytree by researching our own family roots and story's of our dune nature family and all my own sources and information comes from my mother and family pictures to show you our own real story's.
We can't live without our Dutch indigenous identity because our identity is our past, present and future. We have as Dutch people who lives near and in forest and dunes nature reservation beautiful story's abouth our ancestors and that makes us who we are now and why we still feel still connected with nature, and stil connected to our traditions likes the clothes when we visit events where the lives and time of our ancestors wil presented to the publik we feel our rich culture life in the past and honering them on that days, it is verry important that whole the Netherlands wil do this and you can stil see this on events like Spakenburgse dagen 3 days a year, where not only Spakenburg but also Bunschoten and other villages wil be invited to show visitors abouth their rich culture what we almost lost and can't teach anymore to future genarations and means the identity wil be lost of every Dutch person in life and never can't tell abouth who our ancestors are and what they do and wears in life, on days where Dutch identity wil be presented to public is sharing amazing story's what is weavjng into the clothes.
In 2016 i was beginning with my family tree and discover my old past of my ancestors they are the reason i am here on mother earth, i discover my identity and i am glad i found it is old living ways of my family, i am proud of what i discoverd abouth my bloodlines and then my passion for old things grow like how we lived in the past and how we honored our anxestors and how we can make a change to bring it back for 100%.
You see everywhere old things like wind, water and grane mills and you see boats in harbours and that is just the beginning of what i share on my website you can find more and go with me on a journey on this website.

"Important to keep our Dutch indigenous story's alive like talk abouth the past of my people and other people to keep the story's alive, but we have a lot of story's we almost forget and are forgotten and you can stil hear them in songs like the fishingpeople like large group of people who calls the shantykoor they sing abouth our indigenous fishing past and what they do to servive on sea and sing story's to keep the story's of our Dutch identity alive, also they still talk abouth it how it is to be a fishermen on sea and what is happening there, i like to share a lot of things here on my website and all social media platforms."
